When I was 17, I had my makeup done for the first time. It was a big family wedding. I had the perfect gold outfit, red accents, matching jewelry—the whole look. I was so excited.
The hairstylist finished, and then the makeup artist pulled out a white bottle with a paintbrush.
I didn’t question it. I had no context. No frame of reference. I thought—this must be what glam looks like.
Gold shadow. Harsh black. Red lips. Thick, chalky foundation.
And at first? I felt beautiful. I truly did.
Until the comments started.
“Did you get your makeup done?”
“Oh… that’s bold.”
“What happened to your face?”
That’s when I saw the photos—and I looked like a ghost. A floating head.
I remember my confidence disappearing with every flash of the camera.
That moment stayed with me.

With over 14 years of experience and 250+ brides served, I bring calm precision and soulful artistry to every face I touch.
My journey has taken me from global beauty giants like Pat McGrath, Charlotte Tilbury, Lancôme, and NARS, where I led Sales & Education across the GTA, to training Sephora teams and creating soft glam that celebrates every skin tone and story.
I’ve also worked with national brands like Aveeno Canada, but my deepest passion lives here: helping brides feel safe, seen, and stunning on their wedding day.
the Artist Behind ODARA
Since I’ll be your lifelong glam bestie once we meet, you may as well know this about me:
• I moved to Canada from Saudi Arabia one month after 9/11… would not recommend.
• I share my home with 2 daughters, 2 female cats, and 1 awesome husband... who either survives on pure love or hides in the garden when the girl energy gets too real.
• One of my cats, Kiki, is an Abyssinian who acts like a dog: walks on a leash, steals your snacks, and falls in love with anyone who so much as brushes her fur.
• I am a Sauga girlie.. Square One was the hangout spot in my teens (& where my husband and I had our first “date” at 15 & 17 ♡).
• Currently obsessed with weightlifting & park laps across from my house.
• Recovering bubble tea addict — my last cup was May 2025 & I’m still in withdrawal.
